HZT4U Grade 12 Philosophy: Questions and Theories

This course introduces students to the fundamental ideas and methods of philosophy, helping them develop a deeper understanding of complex and abstract concepts. Students will explore core areas of philosophy including metaphysics, ethics, and social and political philosophy, examining influential thinkers and major philosophical traditions.

Throughout the course, students will enhance their critical thinking and reasoning skills by analyzing and constructing philosophical arguments, engaging in thoughtful debate, and applying philosophical inquiry to real world and theoretical issues.
