The primary goal of assessment and evaluation is to enhance student learning. Through the assessment process, teachers gather essential information to identify individual student strengths and areas needing improvement and accordingly adjust instructional strategies and curriculum delivery.
Teachers use professional judgment to align assessments with curriculum expectations. All curriculum expectations are taught, but only overall expectations are used as benchmarks for evaluation. The selected specific expectations support these evaluations.

Subject-specific content and comprehension
Critical and creative thinking processes
Clear expression of ideas and information
Use of knowledge in new or practical contexts
