This course introduces students to advanced accounting principles in preparation for post-secondary studies in business. Students will explore the preparation and analysis of financial statements for various types of business ownership, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations. Emphasis is placed on the role of financial information in business decision-making. The course also expands students’
understanding of financing options, refines accounting methods related to assets, and provides an introduction to corporate and partnership  accounting practices.
