This course offers students an in-depth exploration of Earth and its place in the universe. Students will investigate the origin and evolution of the solar system, the properties and dynamics of celestial bodies, and the processes that shape our planet.
Through a combination of theoretical study and hands-on investigation, students will examine Earth’s materials, geological history, and the interactions among its dynamic systems. They will also explore how scientific knowledge in Earth and space science is developed and applied, with an emphasis on current technologies and discoveries.
Students interested in pursuing post-secondary studies in environmental science, geology, astronomy, geography or related fields.
